Sonnet Number Three

Your beloved eyes are undercover

The hopes of mine heart are soon forgotten

Memory is with my secret lover

As if my love was but a misbegott’n

Come here, come here in the secret places

Come close and let no other win they heart

You’re  the beauty, uncompar’d to oth’r faces

I pray, my love, that we should’st never part

You, my love, are liken’d unto Romeo

My lost lover who nev’r did’st know thy love

Thy heart twas missed by cupids brok’n arrow

My heart’s loss twas predestined from above

My sequestered lone heart twill soon extol

Thy un-relinquished heart hath lost mine soul.

Growing Old.

Before enjoying my evening tea...

let me propose a question for us all.

How is it that people's hearts don't shatter as they watch an old man, whom can barely walk or hear, eat by himself at a fast food restaurant?

Everyone deserves this -

l'amore fou,
Teacup
Xavier here with the entertainment stuff for you. Got some time on your hands and don't know what to do with it? Well then you oughta listen.

For all of you bookworms out there:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower
by Stephen Chbosky

I am not great with reviews but I'll do my best. The Perks.. in the form of a diary in a way, through a series of letters to an unknown person moderates the life of the freshmen teen, Charlie. Charlie explains his every day life through words and phrases that hit you with a strong feeling of nostalgia and can't help you from thinking on old memories you oddly remember but love in a certain way only you can explain. Charlie writes

"I am writing to you because she said you listen and understand and didn't try to sleep with that person at that party even though you could have(...)I just need to know that someone out there listens and understands and doesn't try to sleep with people even if they could have.  I need to know that these people exist."

Through the story we see how Charlie falls into place with people that accept him and who he feels he truly loves.

Movies for all film-watchers:

The United States of Leland
This independent film stars Ryan Gosling and Don Cheadle. Leland, a criminal for stabbing a retarded boy, narrates us on how sees world and the bits and pieces that have made him who he is. We learn his opinions on love, sadness, and how it effects our lives. Leland's lack of interest to what goes on around him shows his inability to physically express his emotions..but once he can bottle his feelings no more he does something that will change his life and lives around him forever.

2050.

I lived in a world full of reason – lacking emotion. Some, with their arms raised and flags in hand, objected to any form of social norm. Any form of garden-variety likeness was unacceptable. The first African American President was elected. The world as we knew it, was inverted. America was capsized.

Do not mistake this for a call of warning to our future generations. Recognize this as a dubious reminder of the world as we knew it.

The word “recession” had become a part of our every day patter. Our children reenacted our getting “laid off” by informing their peers that the cause was only the feared recession and everything would soon be back into its regular routine. It would not.

The earth was suddenly in dire need of saving. The call to “Go Green” was perpetual. Between “Eco Friendly” bags, organic makeup and clothes, and “Earth lover” tees – it seemed as if our earth was clothed in protection. Literally. But was it really? Were our means of advertisement really fulfilling their duty? I think not.

Babies were no longer humans. Only lifeless object with no means of fighting for their rights – no means they would ever know. We were fighting. Fighting as the lionhearted. Sadly, our adversary was waging a war greater than some thought we could handle. Human life was questioned. Human life was compromised.

Education was given but was not clutched. Those who longed for a path to excellence were rejected by a higher learning system. Those who rejected a high learning system were handed education on a silver platter. And still they declined indoctrination. Those who worked to receive high marks were shunned by institutes of their choosing because of their high income, lack of ethnicity, or rejection of deviation. My heart continues to cry out for those scholars who were cast away from the higher learning systems from which they wished to be enlightened.

As I reminisce - over my daily cup of tea - I rejoice in the trials we have overcome and I am reminded of those battles that we have lost. I am thankful for our upended history. I praise our Creator for the changes that have taken place. And finally, I pray for our future. I pray for ordinate reason and lives full of emotion and passion.

I'm a little...

...teacup. She has finally returned to us.
Our dearest Teacup disappeared 3 years ago while Xavier and I were trekking through the Andes. As I have recently learned, Teacup was on her way to visit a friend when her car was run off a cliff whilst driving through Montana. Nursed to health by a local Indian tribe, she learned the ways of the Crow Indians. One day Teacup was out hunting, when she was attacked by a bear and, subsequently, fell off another cliff. Ironically, this brought her memory back and she hitch-hiked her way back to civilization. We've taken her back into our fold and is now safe and sound with Xavier and I.

Welcome back, Teacup.

On the fact that rock sinks and wood doesn't

In decision to obey all vows made to my great friend The Face I have decided to further explore the process of this blog. (Note to you: My wording and grammar doesn;t always make sense).

On this beautiful evening for a blog post I have decided to present you with an excerpt from Calvin and Hobbes, a poem by Calvin, from the book, Something Under the Bed Is Drooling.

"A Quandary"

Mom once said she loved me / Just the way I am So I wonder what would happen / If I became a clam / If her son was gray and grimy / Slippery and slimy / An oversized hors d'oeuvre / Would mom still have the nerve?

That is all

footholds.

Born and raised in the Siberian wilderness, we were trained to hunt and kill. After Xavier nearly died from tuberculosis, he and I took vows of peace. Living as simple fisherman, we stumbled upon a Spanish galleon filled with treasure. With our newfound wealth, we are recluse, living in separate mansions on opposite sides of the world. As I was talking to Xavier the other day on my solid-gold phone, we decided to start a blog. This is that blog. Enjoy.
